Scott is our minister and was installed here back in September 2008. He was born and raised in East Belfast and came to trust Christ as Saviour in 1998. Scott worked as a computer programmer in Dublin and Belfast before commencing his ministry training at Union Theological College in 2003. On completion of his studies he served as Assistant Minister in Gardenmore Presbyterian Church for three years before accepting the call to Edengrove. He is married to Jenny and they have three daughters Sophie, Abby & Ellie. He is constantly challenged by the Reformation cry of Soli Deo Gloria which means to God alone the glory and he sees this as the theme that underpins his life and ministry.
John BroganAssistant Minister
John is our Assistant Minister and has been serving with us since 2016. John is from Navan and his home church is Drogheda Presbyterian. He recently married his wife Olivia and the pair will be living in Saintfield as they complete their assistantship with us. John will be eligible for a call to another congregation in September 2019.
Dave McConkeyYouth Ministry
Dave is our Coordinator of Youth Ministry and began work here back in September 2010. Dave grew up in Newmills Presbyterian before training as an architect in Edinburgh. He would soon put architecture to one side and travelled to Spokane, Washington where he worked with the Salvation Army for many years. Dave is married to Brynn and they have two daughters Charlotte & Bethany.
Jim StokesClerk of Session
Jim is our Clerk of Session and has served as an elder for over twenty years. This is his second term as Clerk and he will serve in this role until 2020. Jim is a recently retired electrical engineer and he now enjoys more time with his wife Sandra. Jim is a Ballynahinch man born and reared and he was baptised in Edengrove before coming to know Christ in his teens.
